The uPATCH ONE is a microneedle applicator intended for one-time use, which enables you to apply a microneedle patch to your skin with ease. The uPATCH patented Technology ensures the right application every time by regulating the pressing force. The uPATCH ONE can be used for one-time drug deliveries such as vaccinations. We believe that it is possible to tackle pandemics like COVID-19, by sending the uPATCH ONE to everyone by mail. This way we can vaccinate ourselves within a couple of days.

Universal

The uPATCH ONE uses the universal uPATCH microneedle patch to apply microneedles to the skin. Many types and sizes of microneedle arrays can be placed on the uPATCH Patch. The ONE can therefore be used to apply almost any type of microneedle there is.

Single-Use

The uPATCH ONE is a disposable applicator that enables users to apply microneedles to themselves easily. This microneedle applicator can therefore be used for one-time drug administrations. After application, the uPATCH ONE releases the microneedle patch from its grip and the applicator can be disposed of.

Guaranteed Pressingforce

When the uPATCH ONE has reached its required pressing force, the microneedle applicator produces an intuitive and audible clicking sound. In addition to reassuring the user that the application is finished successfully, the click ensures that the microneedles have been applied with a guaranteed minimal pressing force.

Stretches Skin

When the uPATCH ONE is pushed onto the skin, the legs gently stretch it. In this same pushing motion, the microneedles are pressed against the pre-stretched skin. After application, the uPATCH Patch keeps the skin in this stretched position for as long as the medication requires it to be.

Responsible Design

All the functionalities of the uPATCH ONE are incorporated into one single shape. The microneedle applicator uses the least amount of material needed for effective microneedle penetration. This ensures low costs and as little impact on the environment as possible.
